Yesterday, Deputy Secretary-General Wency Tan and Athena Lai from Public Relations Department of IFA warmly received Chief Representative Lotus Yang and Promotion Manager Carol Cai both from  China Taiwan Trade Center in Guangzhou. Both parties discussed the development trend and pain point of imported food in China.

昨天，我會(huì)副秘書長譚雯意女士和外聯(lián)部代表賴可晴女士熱情接待了中國臺(tái)灣貿(mào)易中心的首席代表?xiàng)畲竞膳恳约巴茝V經(jīng)理蔡子欣女士，雙方就進(jìn)口食品發(fā)展的趨勢及痛點(diǎn)進(jìn)行了深入的交流。

While visiting the Food2China Trading Center, Ms. Tan introduced the Food2China one-stop service and the different functions of the center such as promotion and display, office place, conference and activities, catering and supporting services etc,. Representatives of China Taiwan Trade Center in Guangzhou highly appreciated the Food2China one-stop service and the online B2B matchmaking event of IFA, believing that the professional service provided by us would promote the development of  China Taiwan food enterprises in mainland China, and is looking forward to the further cooperation in the future.

在譚副秘書長的陪同下，中國臺(tái)灣貿(mào)易中心代表一行參觀了廣州（中國）進(jìn)口食品交易中心.萬國食坊（以下簡稱“交易中心”）。在了解了Food2China一站式服務(wù)以及IFA線上B2B專業(yè)商務(wù)對(duì)接服務(wù)后，代表們表示十分認(rèn)可，認(rèn)為我會(huì)所提供的專業(yè)服務(wù)會(huì)為臺(tái)灣地區(qū)食品企業(yè)在大陸的發(fā)展推波助瀾，并期待未來雙方的緊密合作。

Representatives of  China Taiwan Trade Center in Guangzhou introduced that because of its location in tropical and subtropical areas, China Taiwan is in rich of fruits, vegetables and aquatic products with high quality. In 2019, the overall output value of China Taiwan's food and beverage manufacturing industry was about $21.4 billion, accounting for 4.77% of the total manufacturing industry, showing great potential for development.

中國臺(tái)灣貿(mào)易中心代表表示，因地處熱帶及亞熱帶區(qū)，中國臺(tái)灣物產(chǎn)豐富，水果、蔬菜以及水產(chǎn)品等食品品質(zhì)優(yōu)良，特色鮮明。2019年中國臺(tái)灣食品及飲料制造業(yè)的整體產(chǎn)值約為214億美元，占整體制造業(yè)的4.77%，發(fā)展?jié)摿薮蟆?/span>

In recent years, the agricultural products and food industries in  China Taiwan have shown a good development trend, and the food industry chain has been fully developed. Food peripheral industries such as food packaging, processing machinery and cold chain logistics have developed well. In addition, with diversified food culture and high attention to food safety, China Taiwan will be a great partner for international food trade and cooperation.

近年來，臺(tái)灣地區(qū)的農(nóng)產(chǎn)品、食品行業(yè)發(fā)展前景呈現(xiàn)良好趨勢，食品產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈已經(jīng)形成專業(yè)分工模式，食品周邊產(chǎn)業(yè)如食品包裝、加工機(jī)械以及冷鏈物流等發(fā)展完備成熟，加上多元的飲食文化以及對(duì)食品安全的高敏感度，臺(tái)灣將是食品貿(mào)易和合作的最佳伙伴。

In 2019, IFA once organized a delegation of our members to Taiwan for a field trip. Representatives of  China Taiwan Trade Center in Guangzhou said the purpose of this visit is to further deepen mutual understanding, so as to carry out further cooperation with IFA &F2C team of on the basis of the friendly cooperation before and help  China Taiwan food enterprises to develop their food business in South China.

2019年，協(xié)會(huì)曾組織協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員考察團(tuán)前往臺(tái)灣進(jìn)行實(shí)地考察。中國臺(tái)灣貿(mào)易中心代表表示，此次到訪是為了進(jìn)一步加深雙方的了解，以便在原先的友好合作基礎(chǔ)上，與協(xié)會(huì)&F2C團(tuán)隊(duì)開展更加密切的合作，幫助臺(tái)灣地區(qū)食品企業(yè)對(duì)接到更多華南地區(qū)的優(yōu)質(zhì)渠道，增加其產(chǎn)品在大陸尤其是華南地區(qū)的知名度。

In the future, we will continue to cooperate with trade centers in various regions to bring more high-quality domestic and foreign food to South China and promote the in-depth development of the imported food industry.
